Safety & Security


The safety and security of our tenants are

 our prime concern.

We have invested many thousands of pounds to ensure that, by the summer of 2007, all of our properties will comply with the requirements of the Houses in Multiple Occupation regulations for category B houses.

All our properties have:
 
  • Automatic fire detection to B.S. 5839-6:2004
  • Fire Doors To latest British standard.
  • Electrical installation to B.S.7671 (2001)
  • Locks on all doors to latest British standard.
  • Gas Safety Certificate by Corgi registered engineers.
  • Fire extinguishers to B.S.5306:part 3:1985
 

In addition, all houses in multiple occupation for 5 or more people, are required to be licensed by the local authority. We are pleased to say that Jeff Holden Properties were the fist landlord to apply to Wrexham County Borough Council for licences for all of our properties for 5 or more . This demonstrates our commitment to working with the statutory authorities, in order to provide our tenants with comfortable, safe and secure accommodation.

There are fire ecxtinguishers on each floor of the property, as well as in the kitchen, where there is also a fire blanket provided.

  

    

   Gas Safety Certificates in each property

Each property is tested on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the latest gas safety regulations.
